This tool was developped to produce helpful locating-taps in a
sheet.
It is often necessary to fix two sheets together, e.g. they have to be welded together. These sheets have to be aligned accurately. This can be realized with these locating-tabs which have to be
formed before into the sheet. The result is that the both sheets are in the exact required position, where the next production step follows.
The advantage is the minimal, flexible and adjustable forming on upper side of the sheet. Simultaneously there won’t be any forming or distortion on the opposite side of the sheet.
The programming is very easy, as the tool is simply programmed as an Emboss Tool.
The tool is universal and made for different sheet materials and thicknesses. Compensating for the different materials and thicknesses is made with machine programming or adjustment.
